- Fill in the passport request and pay the electronic stamp on the site, at the amount it shows.
- Prepare the papers the site lists for your case (the old passport for a renewal, for example).
- Hand in the file in person at the passport office of the prefecture or province, or at your consulate if you live abroad; your fingerprints are taken there.
- Collect the passport in person when it is ready.
